Our Mission

 At A Better Tomorrow, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for adults with mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. We are dedicated to delivering high-quality, compassionate care that empowers our residents to live independently, with dignity and purpose.

Our Services

Compassionate Care for All

A caring environment where residents are supported every day. From personalized care to enrichment activities, we provide the tools and guidance for individuals to feel safe, valued, and empowered.

Daily Living Support

 We help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) — personal care, grooming, bathing, and dressing — and provide medication administration and reminders, transportation to appointments, disability-focused care, and weekly RN oversight. Residents receive three nutritious meals a day, household support, and an individualized care plan designed to promote safety, dignity, and greater independence. 

Clinical & Health Services

 

  • RN Oversight & Care Planning — Licensed nurse supervision, individualized care plans, and weekly clinical reviews.
     
  • Medication Management — Safe administration, monitoring, and refill coordination.
     
  • Behavioral Support — Positive-behavior plans, de-escalation strategies, and staff-trained interventions.
     
  • Chronic Disease Support — Help managing diabetes, hypertension, COPD, etc., with routine monitoring and education.
     
  • Telehealth Access — Virtual visits with clinicians and therapists when in-pers

Daily Life & Independence


  • Life Skills & Vocational Training — Cooking, budgeting, job-readiness, and supported volunteer or employment placements.
     
  • Transportation & Appointment Support — Rides to medical visits, community activities, and errands.
     
  • Household & Laundry Services — Regular housekeeping, laundry, and apartment maintenance assistance.em

Family & Coordination

 

  • Care Coordination & Case Management — Benefits navigation, appointment scheduling, and coordination with therapists/MCOs.
     
  • Family Communication & Visit Support — Scheduled family updates, visitation planning, and family education.
     
  • Crisis Response & On-Call Support — 24/7 on-call for urgent needs and emergency planning.

Wellness, Community & Enrichment

 

  • Wellness Programs — Fitness classes, mindfulness/prayer time, and nutrition workshops.
     
  • Recreation & Outings — Community trips, social events, and arts/crafts groups.
     
  • Peer Support & Group Therapy — Resident support groups and facilitated sessions to build connection.
